Regarding Metavision® SDK Version 5 Announced by PROPHESEE on October 7, 2024

PROPHESEE S.A., in partnership with our company, CenturyArks Co., Ltd. in Event Based Vision, announced the latest version of Metavision® Intelligence Suite on October 7, 2024.

Metavision® Intelligence Suite is a software toolkit that can be used by purchasing SilkyEvCam® (VGA) or SilkyEvCam® HD of our event-based vision camera series "SilkyEvCam®" and installing the plug-in files.

The Metavision® Intelligence Suite included the following two plans in addition to OpenEB
(1) Metavision® SDK Free (standard plan, free of charge)
(2) Metavision® SDK Pro (paid, fixed-term license contract, annually renewable)
We were able to choose according to the application to be developed.

After October 7, 2024, only the paid version will be available, the latest version is below.

*At this time, there are no announced changes regarding OpenEB. We can continue to use OpenEB as before.

🔳(1) For Users of Metavision® SDK Free (standard plan, free of charge)
Version 4.6.2 (updated on July 2, 2024) is the final version. In principle, there will be no further updates after that date, but we can continue to use the installed software as before. New installations are also available.

🔳(2) For Uses of Metavision® SDK Pro licensees (as of October 7, 2024)
You can use Metavision® SDK Version 5 with your license.
There is no license contract renewal or cost burden. However, if you wish to use Version 6.x.x or later, you will need to purchase a new license.
