Event Camera Seminar Held at Miyazaki Nishi High School
An online seminar titled "Event-Based Vision Camera Basic Seminar" was held at Miyazaki Prefectural Miyazaki Nishi High School on Wednesday, January 16th.
As the school is designated as a Super Science High School (SSH)* by Ministry of Education, Culture, Sports, Science and Technology, about 10 participants, mainly students with a few theachers, joined the seminar.
During the one-hour session in the afternoon (it was their 5th period!), we introduced the mechanisms, sample videos, and software of the event camera "SilkyEvCam®". First-year high school students also joined, and we received feedback that some parts were a bit challenging for them. Rest assured, there’s no need to worry! We believe that with their flexible thinking, these students are likely to absorb cutting-edge imaging technology more smoothly than expected.
Event-based technology is one of the most promising advancements in image processing, gaining significant attention from research institutions and R&D departments in companies worldwide.
We are committed to providing opportunities for students, the leaders of tomorrow, to learn about the latest technologies. Moving forward, we will continue supporting your educational journey through seminars, exhibitions, and more!
