Selected for the Go-Tech Project!
Our company will collaborate with the University of Tokyo to develop an automated device for curved surface wiring implementation

Research and Development Project Name: “Development of an Automated Device for Curved Surface Wiring Implementation to Enable Mass Production of Bioadaptive Devices”

The biocompatible devices we envision are soft like skin and can flexibly adapt to changes in external shape, enabling them to be worn directly on the human body without causing discomfort. They also incorporate sensor functions, communication functions, and energy storage capabilities.
For example, one type of bio-compatible device, the SmartCL (Smart Contact Lens), integrates sensors, AD converter chips, antennas, wireless power supply and communication control chips, and thin-film energy storage elements onto a flexible substrate, which is then encapsulated in a soft resin material.
In addition to SmartCL, there is growing demand for bioadaptive devices such as swallowable endoscopes and oral activity monitors, and the need for mass production is expected to be high.
In this collaboration, our company will work with the University of Tokyo to develop technology and machinery for implementing devices on micro-curved surfaces by combining our device technology with their micro-wiring technology. This aims to achieve mass production, enabling applications such as continuous monitoring of biological signals for health promotion, AR/VR devices, and further miniaturization of satellites in the space sector. This joint research is a comprehensive initiative aimed at practical application and social contribution across these diverse fields.
