CenturyArks Co., Ltd. (Minato-ku, Tokyo; President: Takeshi Saito) is pleased to announce that it will release the CA378-AOIS-V2, the successor to its existing compact high-performance camera module, and the CA378-V2wide with wide-angle lens on Thursday, March 21, 2024.

Mass production is scheduled to start in June 2024.

Product Overview

■Camera module “CA378-AOIS-V2”

Compared to the existing "CA378-AOIS" (equipped with Sony Semiconductor Solutions Corporation (SSS) 1/2.3" CMOS image sensor IMX378(*)), the brightness (F value) of the lens of the new product has been increased from 2.0 to 1.8, enabling photography in low light conditions. At the same time, the response speed of autofocus (AF) has been increased by changing the actuator.

■Camera module “CA378-V2wide”

The IMX378 image sensor same as the existing "CA378-AOIS" is used, but with a single focal length lens (120°wide angle). It is ideal for industrial and robotics applications such as security cameras that need to capture a wide range of images.
