CenturyArks Co., Ltd. (Minato-ku, Tokyo; President: Takeshi Saito) hereby announces that it will officially launch the high-resolution model "SilkyEvCam® HD" of the "SilkyEvCam®" series, an event-based camera product that captures only changes in light intensity, on Monday, August 7, 2023.

To celebrate the official launch of this product, we will also be offering a "5% discount coupon giveaway" to 10 lucky applicants, who will be selected in a drawing, the coupon can be used toward the purchase of this product.

・Event-based Vision Camera “SilkyEvCam® HD”

This is a high-resolution model (1280px x 720px resolution) of our event-based vision camera "SilkyEvCam®" series that captures only light changes (luminance changes) and outputs coordinate and time information at high speed. This product was created in response to requests for a higher resolution camera from users of the SilkyEvCam® (VGA) (640px x 480px resolution), the entry model in the series!
The camera has been sold on a limited basis as a test model since the fall of 2022 and has been well received. With an eye on the future development of event-based vision camera applications and markets, and in order to meet your expectations, we are moving this product from limited sales to official release on August 7, 2023.

-Equipped with Event-based vision sensor IMX636 released by Sony Semiconductor Solutions Corporation (“SSS”) (*)

-Wide dynamic range
-No motion blur
-Frame rate can be changed after recording
-Compact and light weight, can be placed anywhere (the size is same as SilkyEvCam® (VGA) 30 x 30 x 36mm, 42grams)

The environment of softwear development and an algorithm library called METAVISION^® Intelligence Suite provided by PROPHESEE can be used by installing our plug-in files.
